Walk across the road onto the vast Robberg Beach with your bridal party and say your vows with your feet in the sand, and the sound of the rolling waves your chorus.A stone’s throw from Robberg 5 Blue Flag Beach, you have the option to say your ‘I DO’s’ on this magnificent stretch of beach, and then have your guests simply walk across the road to your reception that awaits at our property.

After a long day on the beach, there's nothing better to do than take a dip in our crystal blue swimming pools. There are two swimming pools at The Robberg Beach Lodge for your convenience. You can choose to relax beside the pool, read a book and let the kids enjoy themselves. The swimming pool are also has outdoor tables for you to enjoy evening drinks or a light lunch. Grab a beach towel from our friendly reception and an umbrella and enjoy the best of summer lazing beside the pool while the kids entertain themselves. 

Looking for where to play golf in the Garden Route? There are two wonderful golf courses in Plettenberg Bay, Goose Valley Golf  Club and Plettenberg Bay Country Club golf course. In a short drive to Knysna, play golf at Pezula Golf Club or the Knysna Golf Club or Simola Golf Club. There are so many courses that stretch along the coast, from Mossel Bay to Plettenberg Bay - visit these world class golf courses on vacation or when on business. Stay at The Robberg Beach Lodge. 

If you love hiking, The Garden Route is definitely the place you need to visit. In the area there are many different hiking trails to take advantage of from easy for beginners to difficult for more experienced hikers. The Robberg Nature Reserve is famous for its beautiful walks and amazing views. This is an activity you will want to add to your agenda when you visit Plettenberg Bay. Facilities include: braai/picnic area. 

Visiting Plettenberg Bay at anytime of the year offers amazing ocean wildlife adventures. But none more spectacular than the months the Southern Right whale visits the quiet bay to nurture their young before migrating. During this time, going whale watching is an exhilarating experience. Learn more about these majestic animals and other animals in the region on an ocean safari or get up close and personal in a sea-kayaking trip. 

Birds of Eden is the world's largest free flight aviary and bird sanctuary, located near Plettenberg Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa. The mesh dome of the sanctuary was built over 2.3 hectares (5.7 acres) of indigenous forest, and is up to 55 metres (180 ft) above ground level. 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) of walkways, about 75% of which are elevated, let visitors see the birds at all levels of the aviary.

Feel the power of the wind in the sails while the sound of the ocean is lapping at the bows. Embark on a charter boat sail trip while staying in Plettenberg Bay and have the experience of a lifetime. Who knows, perhaps you get a close up view of the dolphins and whales that come out to play during the winter months?

Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary offers hourly informative, interactive tours for any ages with over 100 snakes and other reptiles to see. The sanctuary is open daily 9am – 5pm.

Monkeyland – the world’s first free-roaming multi-species primate sanctuary, offers tours (or better, monkey safaris) during which you’ll see more than 550 primates in their forest home. You will also experience our 128-metre suspended canopy walk whilst on tour. There’s also a restaurant, souvenir store, and viewing deck. Our safari guides are multi-lingual (English, Afrikaans, German, Dutch, French, and Spanish).

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa, Plett Puzzle Park is a unique attraction offering interactive fun for the whole family. Their two main activities are the first life size 3D Maze in South Africa as well as an exciting and unique Forest Puzzle Walk.

Experience the Tsitsikamma on horseback… Choose between a one hour farm trail with views over the mountains and forest, a two hour forest trail with wildlife, a three hour trail on a private nature reserve amidst indigenous forest or a half or full day Cruise The Crags Trail, riding on horseback to attractions in the area.
